Alexa Holgate-Fischer, Founder & President

Alexa holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Portland State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Environment, Politics and Globalisation at King's College London. She has previously worked in various financial institutions, including a hedge fund in New York and a private bank in Zurich. She has always been passionate about philanthropy and used her private sector skills and education to start Simply Virtuous. She is responsible for researching charities and their financials, writing reports, and managing the day-to-day operations of Simply Virtuous.


Christof Fischer, Board Treasurer

Christof has worked as an equity research analyst in the investment banking and asset management industries in both New York and Zurich. He uses his knowledge of finance, accounting, and company analysis to help manage the financial activities of Simply Virtuous. Christof holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.


Cari Zall, Board Secretary

Cari Zall is the Senior Program Manager for Classroom Law Project, a non-profit statewide Civics & Law Education provider. Before becoming an educator, she was a paralegal in a variety of civil litigation areas for 12 years, including human rights work in Northern Ireland. Cari has been a Social Sciences educator for over 13 years, and spent the last five years as an administrator for online education. She holds a BA in Conflict Analysis & Resolution, a Masters in Teaching and a Masters in Political Science, and is a James Madison Fellow (a Congressional Fellowship for Constitutional Educators). She is also the Assignment & Managing Editor for The Educator's Room, an online magazine focused on empowering classroom teachers with tools for their professional advancement.


Stephanie Savicki, Board Officer

Stephanie Savicki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lewis and Clark and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She has contributed research published in scientific journals such as Behavior Genetics and the Journal of Infant and Child Development. Stephanie is passionate about mental health advocacy. She uses this passion and her knowledge of psychology to advise and promote Simply Virtuous’ “Serious Mental Illness” portfolio.
